Dennis Alan Gross (1951-2018) was a beloved brother/brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin, and friend. He made the lives of those he met brighter with his sense of humor and wit. He enjoyed rock & roll music and TV news broadcasts/broadcasters, especially Conan Nolan. He was an autistic savant who, like a GPS, could give you specific directions to anywhere you wanted to go in Los Angeles. And that's why he loved collecting Thomas Guides and bus route maps (all of which he memorized).

Because autism was not well understood when he was young, it took until the late 1980s before he was properly diagnosed as autistic. When his late sister, Cheryl Kaiser, saw the movie Rain Man in 1988, she immediately recognized that the qualities and mannerisms of Dustin Hoffman's character were similar to Dennis’.

He is greatly loved and missed.

May his memory be a blessing.
