I did the marine corps marathon in 2009. I haven't had the courage/time/ability to run a marathon after having my children. I had some physical struggles which kept me from training. Also our almost four year old was diagnosed with high-functioning Autism when he was 2 years old. His therapies and appointments were definitely an adjustment in the beginning. Now that we've gotten into a routine and his development has exceeded our expectations, I've been able to focus a little more on my running hobby. I've decided to bite the bullet and run the Marine Corps for my little man. I know if he can go through all he's been through I can run this race and raise some money for an amazing cause. I hope you'll help me meet my goal so I can run this race and be part of an awesome team!
