2nd Annual Mike Caesar 5K for Autism

Join us in the 2nd Annual Mike Caesar 5k run/walk in celebration the life of Mike Caesar. An admired father, husband, brother, uncle, neighbor, coach and friend, Mike spent his life helping others in the Baldwin/Oceanside community. Mike passed away from an extremely rare and aggressive cancer suddenly in October 2015. To honor his life, we are organizing a 5k run/walk in Mike's name and raising money for the Organization for Autism Research, as Mike’s much loved nephew, Andrew, lives with Autism.

OAR (Organization for Autism Research) is a national, non-profit research organization started by parents and relatives of children and adults on the autism spectrum. OAR uses applied science to answer questions that parents, families, individuals with autism, teachers and caregivers confrton daily. No other autism organization has this singular focus. In addition to researching, OAR publishes resource guides specifically designed to provide parents and professionals with reliable information, awards annual grants to applied autism research studies, and supports post-secondary education for individuals with autism through scholarships.
