OAR (Organization for Autism Research) is a national, non-profit research organization started by parents and relatives of children and adults on the autism spectrum. OAR uses applied science to answer questions that parents, families, individuals with autism, teachers and caregivers confrton daily. No other autism organization has this singular focus. In addition to researching, OAR publishes resource guides specifically designed to provide parents and professionals with reliable information, awards annual grants to applied autism research studies, and supports post-secondary education for individuals with autism through scholarships.
