Autism Spectrum Disorder is an illness that affects 1 in 68 children in America. There is no known cause or cure. The spectrum is very wide and the opportunities for those with ASD are just as broad! However, we need more research, more opportunities and more education to really learn all there is to know about this disorder and finish the puzzle that is Autism.
This cause is near and dear to my heart as I am a teacher of children with Autism. I see their potential everyday and see many of the things that are keeping them from reaching that potential. Please help me help them by donating to my fundraiser for the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) as they are working diligently to do all of these things!
