Why I want to run:

I want to run a half marathon because I want to beat my dad’s mileage and time and I like to run. I would like to run for autism because a few of my friends have autism and a few of my family members have autism.

I started running track in 1st grade and was the only kid my age that would run the 1600 meter.  I didn’t really like it but knew I could do it so I did.

My family and I have run in the turkey trot in lots of different towns; Walnut Creek, Tahoe, Kanapali and Kailua to name a few.  My dad and I started doing the Nike Run Club app last year and we did the 5K Mud run. I did the 10k Livermore run while my dad did the half marathon.

I think about stuff to take my mind off runnning while I’m running. I feel really good after accomplishing a good run.
