MCM: "Oorah!" is the Marine Corps battle cry. 

I’m training for the 44th Marine Core Marathon (MCM) in Arlington, Virginia set for October 27th, 2019. The MCM is dubbed, "The People's Marathon."

My Newphew: That cute kid on my fundraising page is my newphew Alexander Perez.  He is Autistic.  But You'd never know it by looking at him that he has the heart of a lion. and yea, he does give the warmest bearhugs.

TEAM: I am running for Team OAR team.  My campaign is to raise a minimum of $1,000.00. 

Challenge: The MCM course is notorious for claiming casualities. Many "hit the wall" during the race.  Hitting the wall means "My body refuses to take one more step!" Here's the kicker" There's a "disqualification" time in the MCM.  That's right.  Runners must reach the notorious "Guanlet" at mile 17 at a specified time. If I fail, I will be diverted to a group of "non-finishers."  We keep the at T-Shirt. No meddal :(

For my "Buck a Mile” campaign, your pledge is great motivator to endure training.  Help me reach my goal for a meaningful cause.  All doners names will be written on my arms or legs to give me my second wind when I need it during the race.
