As some of you may know, about a year ago my 6 year old son, Nicholas, was diagnosed with mild autism and ADHD. Although a relief to have some answers and direction to many struggles Nicholas was facing, the diagnosis left myself and my wife overwhelmed and at a loss. I am thankful for organizations such as the OAR (Organization for Autism Research) that provided my family with access to much needed information and resources. I have decided to run the Marine Corp Marathon this year as a member of the OAR team in order to give back and help raise awareness and funds to support their efforts. Please help me in reaching my goal of raising $1,000 towards autism research.
