Fredericksburg, VA

Join OAR for the 2016 Historic Half! Run in friendly, fabulous and fun Fredericksburg, Virginia, situated halfway between the capital of the Commonwealth and the nation's capital. This scenic course tours colonial sites and the quaint downtown before scaling ominous Hospital Hill to be greeted at the finish by the U.S. Marines. Along the way, runners pass significant landmarks dating back to our nation's beginnings and notable neighborhoods that were home to America's forefathers, including Presidents George Washington and James Monroe.

Without question, the most exciting segement of the 13.1 mile run is the steady 200-foot rise in elevation that occurs over a span of a mile late in the course. Hospital Hill has become a thing of legend, so conquer the hill and celebrate!
